Getting in the Zone
When it comes to getting things done, we all have different opinions on what is distracting and what helps us get “in the zone” while knocking out our daily tasks. Regardless of whether you do web design or work in manufacturing, getting in the zone helps you stay focused and happy during your 9 to 5.
Here at Birdeye, we all share a love of music. Music helps our entire team get excited about their work—so it shouldn’t be much of a surprise that we have six speakers in our office and even playing on the street in front of our building. The volume of the music almost always directly correlates with productivity and smiles in the office.
Of course, your work environment might be completely different from ours. Music can be a distraction for some people, which is why it is important to be respectful of others’ differences. You don’t want to distract someone else while you’re getting in the zone, which is why as much as we love our music, we can’t say it’s the perfect fit for every office!
So what do you do to get in the zone? Everyone is different, and we want to hear what gets you zeroed in on your work! We’re always eager to try new ideas. Tweet @birdeyeco and let us know what helps you.
